R42 forms an ecosystem for the games and media industry on seven floors. We combine gastronomy, events, content production, gaming, working and living in one building. This combination is unique in Germany. Here, the world of traditional business meets the games industry and promotes innovative concepts throughout the region.

Individual startup support

Startups receive a customized series of workshops with experts from the games industry, mentors and a coach who always has a sympathetic ear and good advice for at least six months.

Network

Startups gain access to our exclusive network of partners and SMEs from the region and also get to know them in regular meetups. We actively look together in our network to see who we can introduce the startups to in order to help them progress.

Coworking

In future, startups will have access to our exclusive workspace in the heart of Leipzig's city center and the associated infrastructure.

The team

We are GECKO! More precisely, GECKO.1 and GECKO.2. 30 young, creative minds are behind it. Some are experts in video marketing and film production. The others are experts in building and developing companies and their strategies. What unites us is the constant search for innovation and challenges.

We want to constantly develop ourselves and our partners. This is precisely the motivation behind the creation of R42.
